YOUTH MINISTRY 101
Youth Ministry 101 is an interactive mix of teaching and discussion based on the book "Assets", Over the course of five hours we teach your leaders the essential elements of a healthy and effective youth ministry and help them identify areas of strength and weakness in their own youth ministry. From these insights we work together to establish clear goals and strategies.
This is best done in a single five-hour block but can be spread over a couple of days. Prior to the consultancy, we will help you to survey all key stakeholders in your church to gain a snapshot of the youth ministry, which will then be used as a basis for the consultancy process.
The cost of the consultancy is NZ$100/hour* payable after the completion of the programme. Associated costs such as travel and accommodation are negotiable.

The teaching component of the consultation consists of the following topics:
ONE: Developing a Christ-Centred Youth Ministry
The ingredients of a youth ministry that acknowledges Christ as the Leader and operates in a manner that focusses on Him and honours Him, using leaders who know they are called by Him.
TWO: Establishing a Healthy Youth Ministry Culture
Developing a youth ministry culture that is integrated into the life of the wider church and values "family", participation and the importance of the individual.
THREE: Programming with Purpose
Establishing a youth ministry that makes disciples by being balanced and strategic in its programming.
FOUR: Building a Team
Strategies for recruiting, training and developing an effective youth ministry team.
