YOUTH PASTOR (Part Time)

Are you someone with a heart to see youth grow in their love for Jesus and his world?  Remuera Baptist Church is a multigenerational and multiethnic church in Auckland with a  growing youth ministry. We are looking for a Youth Pastor (20 hours per week) to lead our youth ministry (Years 7-13) based on our church purpose statement: to Glow, Grow and Go for Christ.  
 
The successful applicant will: 

• Have a deep love for Christ and his mission in the world.  

• Have enthusiasm for connecting both with youth in our faith community and with young people in the surrounding communities. 

• Be theologically trained. 

• Be able to plan, mentor, disciple and lead intentionally. 

• Be gifted in recruiting and developing a volunteer youth leadership team. 

• Be able to communicate and relate well to all age groups. 

 
Applicants must be NZ citizens or hold NZ permanent residency. The application process will involve background and security checking as required by relevant legislation and our organisational policies. Remuneration will be according to NZ Baptist guidelines including associated allowances.
